Anniversary Cake

It has been a long time since I’ve decorated a cake. Thank goodness my mum made the sponge (it was for her ruby wedding anniversary) and all I had to do was sandwich together with buttercream and jam, cover with buttercream then lay over the icing. We kept it simple with the decoration deliberately. Some scattered fabric rose petals (from Hobbycraft) are all you need.
